The McGill Division of Geriatric Medicine respects the privacy of our participants; we do not sell, rent, or trade our data. We do not collect any personal information but use Google Analytics for the purpose of keeping our safe program up-to-date and monitor visitor traffic such as quantity of visitors, how they found our site and which individual pages they visited. This is all handled under the banner of Google’s own privacy policy. The terms and conditions of Google’s privacy policy apply to your internet access. Therefore, safe-seniors.com is not liable for any manner or utilization of data collected by Google.
The information gathered on safe-seniors.com utilisation can be used internally by the Division of Geriatric Medicine to request associated hospital foundations for their financial support in our mission to improve older adults’ overall community health needs. This information is carefully protected within the Division and Foundations involved. Safeguards are in place to ensure that the information is not accessed, disclosed or shared more widely than is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was gathered. We also take measures to ensure the integrity of this information is maintained and to prevent it being lost or destroyed.
